Meet the pre/post/special lunch presenters

Jill Camber Davidson
Jill Camber Davidson, RD/RDN, CD.  Jill joined Action for Healthy Kids in September 2011 in the capacity of School Program Manager. She is a registered dietitian with over twenty years of diverse nutrition and public health experience. Prior to joining Action for Healthy Kids, Jill worked as a state nutrition education consultant and Team Nutrition Director, Nutrition and Food Services Director and in clinical nutrition. Jill has certificates in Adult and Pediatric and Adolescent Weight Management from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Jill also is an active volunteer and leader with local, state and national nutrition and wellness groups, and is passionate about child nutrition and wellness. She has been recognized by her peers as a Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year in 1994 and as the Wisconsin Medallion – Outstanding Dietitian of the Year in 2011. Jill graduated from UW Madison in Dietetics/Agricultural Journalism, and completed her dietetic internship at UW Hospitals and Clinics. On a personal level, Jill keeps up with her two daughters’ activities and is actively involved in numerous local school and community groups. Her interest in child health and wellness extends to her community. Jill has served two terms as an elected school board member, and also is a member of her district wellness committee, school parent groups, and other school related task forces/groups. She also is a “BIG” with Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. 
​Manola C. Erby 
Manola C. Erby, B.S., Home Economics Education, Alcorn State University M.S., Home Economics Education, Iowa State University Manola C. Erby is the 1890 4-H Program Leader/Youth Specialist with the Alcorn State University Extension Program in Mississippi. She has 32 years of experience with this program. Her expertise and programs interest include working with hard to reach and at-risk audiences, Career & Workforce Development, Team building and Leadership Development and Youth Health Issues and Healthy Living Programming. Manola has developed the following resources: Health and Wellness Program Planning Guide, Developing Leaders: Organizing School and Community Clubs to Build Strong Communities (Volunteer Development), Smoking Tobacco Ain’t Right For You (Tobacco Education), Let’s Talk About It: Keep Teens Safe (Pregnancy Prevention), and The Working Class: Preparing Youth for Careers (Career Development).  Manola is a native of Meridian, Ms. and now resides in Jackson, MS. She is married to Tom and they have one daughter, Lauren.
